Telekom Veszprém will host Spartak Moscow in the upcoming round of the SEHA – Gazprom League on Tuesday at 17:15. About the match, Péter Gulyás head coach and our player Bence Szűcs formed their expectations.

 

 

Péter Gulyás: It is a huge opportunity, that we get the chance once again in the SEHA – Gazprom League with the youngsters against Spartak. Everyone could see the away game, and that result was a huge joy for everyone; the kids got an enormous boost in their career. Since then, Spartak had a change in the coaching staff and play in a whole other mentality and structure, and I think they will arrive to Veszprém with a more intense defense than last time. We hope that a lot of spectators will come to see young Hungarian talents in Veszprém Arena. We asked the guys to not feel the pressure of this home court, but to gain a boost from that and get into the game with the right openness and attitude. This is a great opportunity for them, to show themselves at home, in Veszprém Arena, with TV broadcast; this is an even bigger ad looking into their career. We would like to carry on building our youth academy this way and we would like to win the game tomorrow.

 

 

Bence Szűcs: I hope that we will welcome the Russian team with faith and hope, because we could show them ourselves in Moscow. They had a coach change, which might bring a new defensive system. I hope that it will not cause a problem for us, because we could prepare well for the game, and even today, we will make some adjustments in our play. We would not want to let Spartak take the two points. We want to get the victory tomorrow.
