The second half started with a Yahia’s goal, then Mahé also scored. Lauge scored a big goal and Veszprém raised the lead to 2 goals. In powerplay the guests scored 2 goals and there was draw again. Omar Yahia scored a huge back shot goal, in the goal Cupara made two big saves, one of them against a penalty (41. min 23-21). Cupara saved another penalty, the whole Arena celebrated him. There were a lot of 2 minutes suspensions, but Cupara made another great save and at the middle of the half the home lead was 4 goals (27-23). Marguc scored after a fastbreak, it was his 1300th goal in Veszprém jersey and PSG called a timeout again. Lauge was also on fire, with his 7. goal the difference raised to 5 goals (51. min 31-26). Cupara saved the third penalty as well, signing tot he opponent that today is his day. Lauge was the other hero of the game, he scored another huge goal and had 11 goals that time. Veszprém won this important match with a fantastic performance and team spirit.

Of course congratulate for Veszprém for the victory. I was satisfied with our first half, espacially the first 15 minutes. In the second half Veszprém’s defence improved a lot and Vladimir Cupara was really good in the goal. We can’t do anything with Rasmus Lauge’s goals. 

It was a tough game, we knew that we have to play good to have a chance to win. The first half was good, we were leading by 4 goals, but it was draw to the break. In the second half we missed to much clear chances. Lauge had a fantastic game today. It was a tough match, I think the fans really enjoyed it. 

First of all congrats for my team for the victory. I wasn’t satisfied with our first half, we changed and tried 5-1 in defence. We could get closer at the end of the half, it was 17-17. In the second half our defence was good and Cupara were amazing in the goal. Lauge was unstoppable. I think it was a deserved victory. Thank you for the fans for the amazing atmosphere and the support. 

Thanks to PSG for the great match. It is always a challenge to play against them, because they are a good team. In the first half they were better, but because of some mistakes we could equalise. We made better performance in the second half. I am happy for the victory and many thanks to the fans for this fantastic atmosphere.
