Struggles in the Champions League continue

After a 2 month break struggles continue in the Champions League. HCM Constanta is going to be the opponent of MKB Veszprem KC in the next leg at the weekend.

Romanians are going to start the spring season with 2 new players. Serbian Vujadinovic and Romanian Cristescu transferred to Constanta from CSM Bukarest, where had been serious financial problem so they sold some of their players. Constanta is still has the chance to qualify into the next round, but they need a brilliance for it. After the guest performance in Veszprem they travel to the Slovenian Celje, and in the last leg they will host THW Kiel at home field.

MKB Veszprem’s big desire is to be first in the group, but we have to win all our matches in home field to achieve it. There is a good chance for it, because Atletico Madrid will travel to the Arena outside the Constanta at the end of February. In the recent time the Spanish team has not exhibited an excellent form.

On Saturday THW Kiel, which is our biggest rival in the struggle for the winner of the group, is going to step onto the field in Swedish like the guest of Savehof.

On the last struggle of the week Madrid hosts the team of Celje. If Madrid win, almost certain that they will close the group phrase in the third place. Seeing the results of the last rounds a Slovenian surprise is not inconceivable either.
