HE-DO B.Braun Gyöngyös will host Telekom Veszprém in Saturday at 18:00 in the K&H League. The game will be broadcasted live by M4 Sport.

We have already met Gyöngyös this season, when we hosted them in the Veszprém Arena for a preparation game, behind closed doors. The game ended in a confident 41:30 Veszprém victory, with Moraes scoring six goals making him the top scorer of the contest.

Our opponent managed to play four games in the K&H League, out of which they won three times and lost only one. They are currently on fourth position on the table. They beat Orosháza, Balatonfüred and Budakalász, while they were only beaten by Tatabánya. The top scorer of the team in the domestic league is Milán Varsandán, who scored 22 goals in four games.

Gyöngyös had the opportunity to play in the EHF European League with Csurgó withdrawing the possibility, and they could stand their ground well for the first time on the big stage. Telekom Veszprém continued their streak in the Champions League, when they beat Celje Pivovarna Lasko easily 39:24. The streak continued in the Hungarian championship as well. Balatonfüred only scored 11 goals, to which Veszprém replied by scoring 38.
