Telekom Veszprém will host Portuguese champion FC Porto Sofarma in the fourth round of the VELUX EHF Champions League. Before the game, we asked our head coach and three players about their expectations.

David Davis: Porto is a really hard to play against this year. They are playing well and with confidence. They showed in the first few matches that they deserve to be here in the Champions League and in group A and B. It is going to be a hard game, with many tactics. Porto is a great team.

Máté Lékai: Unfortunately, we lost our last two Champions League games, so now we really want to win. We are facing a really strong team, I saw their Vardar and Kielce games as well. They were better in Skopje than Vardar, and the home team could only come back because of their goalkeeper saving a lot in the second half. Their defense is really strong, and their wall is huge, while they play attractive and precise handball in offense. They use the 7 against 6 tactic a lot. It almost does not matter how we play, but we must secure the two points at the end.

Kent Robin Tonnesen: I expect a tough game. We need to play much better and we need to find our rhythm again. We have to play the handball we know we can play. We need to go into the game with a bigger confidence. We want to win and we want to play better in front of our Fans. I cannot wait to show them that we are better than in the last two games.

Dejan Manaskov: It is going to be a really important game for us. After these three losses, we really want to win this game. Porto is a good team; they showed it in the last couple of games. They won against Kielce. They like this 7 against 6 system in offense. Starting Wednesday, we are going to prepare a lot for these kind of situations. We have to be good in the defense and be patient, because they play until the end. With the help of our Supporters, we have to win this match and be on the winning track again.
